Halloween Time

In only a week and a half it will be my favorite time of year. So today, to prepare myself, I went to the grocery store and got myself a few treats. I have been having major cravings for cupcakes lately, so I chosen the Halloween funfetti kind :) I also stopped by to grab a couple of pumpkins to carve, as well as coolies :) I love this season!!!

I thought this day would never come! Yes, today was the day leading to our week off. It's not like I'm going to be doing anything crazy, but this coming week was much needed.
So my nothing crazy this week will consist of days at the lake (sunscreen will be my best friend), sleeping, and having fun experiences with my dearest boyfriend. Pictures may be posted soon.

Romeo and Juliet

Today I get to go and watch Romeo and Juliet with my grade. I am excited for being able to leave school even more so for the event being of the dramatic genre. However, R&J definitely isn't at the top of my list. Lots of people see it as a tragic love story, but it just didn't measure up to my expectations. I guess it's because it doesn't have crazy costuming and nobody sings show tunes...
I don't see it as real love (even if they do speak in iambic pentameter). First of all the whole reason that Romeo left Rosaline was because she wouldn't "take from his pot of gold"(....ew gross i don't even want to go there...) Not to mention the nasty perverted jokes about thrusting the maidens and falling on our back when you are older.
I was really expecting this insanely epic love story about these lovers who were of two separate feuding houses who met and TALKED for hours and fell in love with each others personalities. Instead it was a story about two people that met at a party, started making out, got married soon afterwards, and then killed themselves. Shakespeare you could have done better...

Fashion

Today I was at school (unfortunately) and my friend came up to me and handed me one book and 2 magazines. She explained to me that she had these laying around I she thought I would enjoy them. Well, she was definitely right. I have been reading them nonstop. Christian Siriano is a fashion icon! His book is so inspirational.
I live in a really small town, and it has been really hard for me to develop a personal style. Today, as I read his book, I found out that he was the same way. Therefore, there might be some hope for me to be a style icon in my everyday life.

I have returned

As the title shows, I have returned to blogging. I have been so busy with school stuff I have had no time to think about actually doing normal people things. However, I am finally on Christmas break.

Don't worry. It's not just my blog, it is my YouTube channel too. So I am slacking in all areas of internet not just one.

So, to have something to not complain about, I have officially become obsessed with pinterest. I am constantly on it looking at new ideas and style. If you are anything like anyone artistic, you will love this site! Go check it out......just be prepared to be addicted.......
